Help: Rainmeter Skins • Couple things with running my first Rainmeter skin

Hiya,

So I'm running a version of Amatical (downloaded from https://www.deviantart.com/apexxx-sensei/art/Amatical-742039669), and I've made a few tweaks since downloading. But there are a couple things I'd like to do which I don't know how to without deeper knowledge of the code and how it works.

Here's what I'd like to achieve:
  • I'd like to get the weather widget working, and when there's no internet connection, I'd like for it to disappear altogether. If that's not possible, I'm open to just deleting the weather widget, because I use my computer offline and I want it lookin crisp at all times.
  • I'd like for the visualizer to work regardless of volume level. So, like, I would like it to reflect the waveform of the audio file, but not the volume. I have an audio system which is wayy overkill for my lil bachelor pad, so I never have the volume high enough to register in the visualizer. I suppose it would be nice if it did flatten out when the thing's on mute, but that's just a bonus, I'd settle for it just reacting to playback the same way regardless of volume level.
  • This is a little more ambitious, but I'd like for the saved Rainmeter skin to generalize across display resolutions. As it stands, all I'm doing is saving a separate skin for each resolution I use, and then changing the skin every time I changer resolution. If I could automate that process, that'd be neat.
